This is the perfect ipad case for my needs, as a lawyer and ipad junkie. Its various compartments are big enough to carry things other than just the ipad, though not anything as large as a full-size notepad. I didn't buy it to carry such large items though. If I wanted that I would have looked for a larger and bulkier bag. This is perfect to carry the ipad, its wireless keyboard, various cables, business cards, pens, and even hard-copy documents if I can fold them.
The strap is also perfect, because it can be shortened or lengthened as needed.

Great bag, well made, lots of pockets. fits my ipad perfectly. Would also fit a small laptop. Would work great as a carry on bag for flying etc. Surprisingly quick post to AU - 6 days.

This case is PERFECT! It has oodles and oodles of pockets. Plenty of room for my iPad 2, keyboard, cords, papers, spiral notebooks, iPhone and small misc items. At first I thought it might be too small, but it's perfect. NOTE: My iPad 2 is inside a rugged Griffin protective case and my iPhone is inside an Otterbox.
