Beautiful, Hopefully as durable as it seems!Nov 26, 2011

Just got my case along with my kindle in hand today. The first thing I did was slip my kindle inside this gorgeous case. It has six clips which hold the kindle in place although the bottom two must be taken off to use the stand. This all works really well though. The outside is a beautiful red leather like material with a soft gray interior and a black strap which holds the case in either an open or closed position. Back to the stand. When folded there are two notches on the case where the bottom of the kindle rests. I was really skeptical of this and preferred velcro but in practice it works really well. I've even used it like this on my lap and it is very sturdy. I love this case. It looks nice when closed, like an elegant leather bound book. Hopefully this case turns wears well and is as well made as it seems.

Just received my Blazing Red case today and frowned upon opening the bag. I just couldn't imagine how the Fire would fit safely in what looked like a ring setting without the stone. My doubts were quickly swept aside once I slipped the Fire into the cradles. The prongs hug the Fire with ease, grace, and steadfast firmness. I spent a little time holding the case by the cover and shaking it just to make sure it would not fall out. There is a black stretchy strap that you slip over the case to keep it closed and that makes for a compact package that feels like it will keep my Fire safe. I had to visit Amazon to figure out how to prop open the case, but I'm only slightly embarrassed by that admission. The red is a true red and the synthetic leather does not have that funky smell. If you're looking for a case that will stay propped up in portrait mode this isn't for you, but the Fire will adjust the screen for you to use it in landscape mode. I think the Ace Flip and I will be happy together. Hope this helps you make your decision!

It's perfect! The cover fits securely without obscuring any of the beautiful Fire. In addition, the cover feels good; it easily folds back for comfortable reading; it provides excellent protection, and the red is beautiful and appropriate for a Fire. I am very pleased with both the Kindle Fire and the cover.
